ABOUT
My Song is my Story
Over the last three decades, I have been bringing music to people of all ages and from all walks of life. No matter the venue, whether a concert hall or a private event, I hope to touch the hearts of those who are listening through new musical adventures or by adding a distinctive twist on old favorites.
A native of Kansas, I began my musical studies at an early age, later studying both voice and viola at Wichita State University. Now living in Europe for the last 13 years, I have accumulated a wealth of education and experience, including a Masters degree from Birmingham Conservatoire in the UK. I have always had a taste for the eclectic and I absolutely love of new combinations. My performances range from Opera to Jazz, Musical Theater and Art Song, but I must admit I hold a special place in my heart for music of the early 20th century in all its various forms. I have performed in concerts across Europe-- in Italy, Spain, Austria, and England-- as well as in the US, and have been the honored recipient of various scholarships and awards, including being the winner of the Presser Scholarship (Wichita State), Bayreuth Stipendium (Venice), and a two-time finalist in the International Competition G. Seghizzi in the categories Gershwin Songs and Jazz. But no matter where I go or who is in the audience, I hope to transmit the joy and passion I find in music with those around me.
